We are sure that once you’ve visited our beautiful town of Cloquet you’ll never want to leave! It all started out as a group of small settlements around three sawmills eventually being incorporated in 1884. History is still mixed in with our town today as it is home to the R.W. Lindholm Service Station, which is the only service station that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Today Cloquet has become a destination frequented by bikers, cross country skiers, ski jumpers and many more adventure seekers. Located near the southwestern tip of Lake Superior we proudly have many parks and trails in the area. Our city parks alone include hundreds of acres of land and over 2 miles of trails.

No matter the reason you are visiting our beautiful town, you just have to stop by the Family Tradition Restaurant!

Best “homemade” food!!
Ordered hot beef sandwich and a Denver to go. Hot beef was from a roast and plenty of meat, gravy and potatoes. Denver was the best I’ve ever had (except for my mom’s). Excellent food. Thank you for two great meals! Best “homemade” food from any restaurant!

Pryor Staple!
Local staple. Best in class. The place you go Saturday morning and everyone knows your name and if they don’t, they want to.
Hope this place will be around forever. Pryor wouldn’t be Pryor without them

The breakfast is absolutely killer!
One of the best classic diners with that American flare food. The breakfast is absolutely killer! I’ve only had dinner a couple times here but I’ve never been let down. Awesome service and incredible food.

Always Great!
The best local diner in pryor. The sweetest servers and cooks! Everyone is kind and great at their jobs. My whole family loves to come and eat here. The food is always great🤍 best fried pickles too!
